China's patrol boats fired burning a Vietnamese fishing vessel in Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands, Vietnamese official media Xaluan reported on March 24.

Vietnamese fishing vessel (hull code 'QNg 96382 TS') of Vietnam's fisherman from Ly Son Island was fired by China's patrol ship in Hoang Sa Islands, an archipelago under Vietnam's soverignty.

According to RFA, the fishing vessel QNg 96,382 of Mr. Bui Van Phai, living in An Hai commune, Ly Son District, Quang Ngai Province.

The vessel was attacked when it was going to end fishing session in the area around Lin Con Islet, Paracel Islands of Vietnam in the East Vietnam Sea (the south China sea).
