US F15 reportedly crashes off Okinawa

The Japan Coast Guard says it has been informed by the US military that a US F15 fighter jet crashed into the sea east of the main island of Okinawa on Tuesday morning.

The F15 carried a single pilot and the person is reportedly safe.
