Israel intends to increase arms sale to Azerbaijan, Brazil, Poland and Vietnam

Jan 12, 2013- Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. Israel is intending to increase sale of arms and military equipment to Azerbaijan in 2013, said Director General of the Israeli Defense Ministry Udi Shani, APA reports quoting haaretz.com.

He also said that Israel may raise the sale of weapons and military equipment to the countries such as Brazil, Poland and Vietnam.

The ministry aims to increase the volume of arms exports to $10 billion.


Israel has been extensive experience in the supply of military equipment to Vietnam. In 2005, the ELTA Electronics Industries group has installed the specialized military electronic equipment on the Vietnam Ram-2000 reconnaissance vehicle.

In 2010, Vietnam negotiated to buy Israeli Extra short-range defense missiles, but there was not additional information till now.
