Club-K anti-ship missile sold to Southeast Asia

Vietnam official media report that Russia is in the process of negotiating the sale of Club-K anti-ship missile system with a partner in Southeast Asia but not point out which country is.

A bulk of Vietnam official media, cited a report of Interfax AVN said, Russia is negotiating the sale of anti-ship missile system that is arranged in cargo containers for a traditional partner, in Southeast Asia, in the framework of the aerospace and naval equipment exhibition LIMA-2013 taking place in Malaysia.

Interfax news agency quoted General director of Morinformsystem-Agat, the manufacturer of the Club-K system, George Antsev said "The interest of customers for the system is very large. We have held talks. Moreover, this is not the first talks, we are gradually achieving the agreement."

He added that negotiations are underway with a traditional partner in Southeast Asia but does not reveal which country is. "We are actively marketing, a lot of negotiations have been carried out, I think the result is very positive," he said.
